On that day we found a location GW7P+6F Phnom Penh, behind the Chak Angre Krom pagoda, along the river Basac, a lot of uncontrolled plastic waste, which in the rain season the river water will take with to the Mekong River and then to the South China Sea. The location can be accessed only via Seehamster.  

Basac River is one of the tributaries of Mekong which is poluted the most by plastic waste. To be effective by waste collection one of our team members looks always in advance spots where the cleanup can be taked place in the next day or next week. 

The most plastic collected from the rivers is so dirty, they are therefore non-recyclable.

The non-recyclable plastic need to be cleaned and dried under the sun shine before it go to be compressed and be dliveried to the end pip of waste management environmental sound.
